- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside specifically for gambling. Proper bankroll management is the foundation of any sustainable gambling strategy.

- Card Counting

- Expected Value (EV)
- The average outcome of a bet repeated many times. Negative EV means losing money on average — the majority of casino bets have negative EV. Always know the EV before betting.
- House Edge
- The mathematical advantage the casino holds over players, expressed as a percentage. A 2% house edge means the casino keeps $2 of every $100 wagered on average. See game house edges →
- KYC (Know Your Customer)
- Identity verification where casinos require ID documents to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. Required by all licensed casinos; a delay tactic at scam casinos.

- Mines
- A grid-based crypto casino game where you reveal tiles avoiding hidden mines. Mines strategy guide →
- Provably Fair
- A cryptographic system letting players verify each bet's outcome. Casino commits to a server seed hash before the bet; you can verify independently after. Verify game outcomes →
- RNG (Random Number Generator)
- Software producing random outcomes in online casino games. Licensed casinos use RNGs certified by third-party auditors (eCOGRA, iTech Labs).
- RTP (Return to Player)
- The theoretical percentage a game pays back over millions of rounds. A 97% RTP means $97 returned per $100 wagered on average. RTP database →

- How frequently and how much a game pays. High volatility = rare large wins. Low volatility = frequent small wins. Important for choosing games during bonus wagering.
